7 Best Kartra alternatives: more effective and easier to use

Kartra is an "all-in-one" platform that helps you build sales funnels, manage leads, and upsell prospects through their software. Their main selling point is that they bundle all the services you need in one place while the competition does not.

Frankly, that's not true. Nowadays, that's the most common feature you get from landing page and funnel building services.

You can typically choose one service, and using that; you can build landing pages, create sales funnels, build your email list, create online stores, and more.

I found that there are a ton of great Kartra alternatives out there that are actually quite better. They provide more features while still keeping the funnel building process streamlined and simple. Let's check some of them out.

Systeme.io is a full service marking platform that provides an array of benefits without all the yellow tape. People always run to big flashy funnel builders like ClickFunnels because they promote a tremendous amount of features and highly converting landing pages.

The truth is, every funnel builder including Systeme.io has all those features, but they're simpler to use. With this software, you can:

  • Build sales funnels
  • Develop an email list
  • Send unlimited emails
  • Build a blog
  • Create membership sites
  • Start up an affiliate program
  • Automate the whole thing

Whatever you need, Systeme.io has it for you in their easy to use funnel building dashboard. You can build sales funnels within minutes with their drag and drop system.

They also offer plenty of personalized email automation to save you time and increase your conversion rates.

Pros of Systeme.io:

  • Easy to use
  • Intuitive design
  • Email automation

Cons of Systeme.io:

  • Fewer bells and whistles than some other software

ClickFunnels is a huge name in the funnel building software, and I have spent plenty of time using it. You can use it for lead generation, product sales, email automation, and webinars.

ClickFunnels boasts plenty of features that help push your lead through the funnel-like progression bars and countdown timers.

The main upside to ClickFunnels is the number of templates they offer, but you can never settle for the template alone. While the service is advertised as easy and simple to use.

They give you a bare-bones template that is "high converting," but you still need to test variations with your own audience to determine the success of the page.

The software also offers an array of their own upsells like Actionetics. This software provides advanced insight into what you can do to improve your conversion rates and make more sales

A primary downside to ClickFunnels is their price as well. They've way overcharged their clients for a long time for the same service as everyone else.

The reason being is their own marketing. They out promote everyone in this space, and as a result, they can charge more. Expect to pay around $100 per month for ClickFunnels.

Pros of ClickFunnels:

  • Loaded with features
  • Plenty of automation
  • Popular and flashy

Cons of ClickFunnels:

  • Overpriced
  • Templates lack conversion factors

Before there was ClickFunnels, there was LeadPages. I've also used this software quite a bit. It has plenty of templates with built-in conversion factors like squeeze pages, checkouts, and opt-in pages.

You can customize the code and edit the design if you like, but you could also stick with the template as well.

One advantage of LeadPages is their Facebook ad builder because you can quickly fire off a social media campaign and use their split-testing tool to see which landing pages perform best.

As one of my Kartra alternatives, LeadPages is easy to use, and they provide you plenty of plug-ins for your WordPress pages as well.

Integration is also important for anyone who may already have a mailing list. If you do, LeadPages will integrate with all your contacts and keep things moving smoothly.

Pros of LeadPages:

  • Facebook ad builder
  • Personalized emailing
  • Integration and plug-ins

Cons of LeadPages:

  • No conversion rate optimization

Podia is a bit different than the previous options we've looked at because it's a membership website which is a popular feature for creatives and influencers.

With Podia, you'll have the opportunity to sell digital downloads, courses, programs, and memberships to your audience while retaining their membership as a monthly fee.

If you've ever heard of Patreon, Podia works in the same fashion. The main downside to Podia is that you have to host everything on your own website, and they have some hefty monthly fees associated with the service.

The designs and appearances of the sales page are simple and kind of bland, but overall, most people seem to be happy with Podia.

While it might work, it doesn't contain as many features as Systeme.io or ClickFunnels. There are no email automation, personalization features, or sales funnels.

I would recommend Systeme.io because you can create membership pages as well as everything else in one place.

Pros of Podia:

  • Well designed and simple to use
  • Free trial

  • Expensive
  • Lacking features

Divi Builder

Divi offers an array of WordPress themes that work well on both desktop and mobile. You can edit everything without the use of code and using the drag and drop feature makes creating your ideal landing page or website quick.

The overall dashboard for Divi is clunky and difficult to use at times. I've used this as well and had many issues with crashing and having to revert to previous versions of Divi because I was having speed issues.

While the software is clunky, the benefits are there. You can thousands of WordPress themes with customization every step of the way. Each form can be entirely changed to match the needs and desires of your ideal audience.

With Divi, you can also post content on social media and blogs as well. Since the software is built into WordPress, exporting the changes over is simple given the software runs properly.

Pros of Divi:

  • Plenty of features
  • Integrated with WordPress
  • Great for conversions

  • Sometimes clunky

UnBounce is a landing page builder at its core. Using the drag and drop system, you can build converting landing pages and utilize a ton of different tools

They have popup boxes, sticky bars, and other features that help you catch the eye of your audience and push them to convert.

One thing I like about UnBounce is that there aren't any limits to what you can and cannot edit. That is a similar component of UnBounce and Systeme.io.

With both of these software's, you can edit everything from your own interface, to capture forms, to popup windows. There are no limits.

You also can add all your own personalized and branding like logos, images, and colors. UnBounce is mobile friendly and integrates with Zoho, WordPress, and a vast assortment of other CRMs.

For the price of UnBounce, we would have expected to see a little more automation and email customization, though.

Pros of UnBounce:

  • Easy to build landing pages
  • Customize everything
  • Great for branding

Cons of UnBounce:

  • Lacking automation

If simplicity and ease of use are on your list, you might want to take a look at Instapage. This software offers effective landing page solutions for beginners and allows you to create funnels to promote your business.

You get the drag and drop builder which allows you to create sales pages from scratch and include what element you want and way. Instapage also offers plenty of integrations and marketing tools to help make your funnels more effective.

With that comes 200 or more templates that are tested and proven to convert so you can take what you've got and customize it to your liking.

Part of the problem I have with Instapage is that they sell it as a "bare-bones" service kind of like ClickFunnels. You only get some of what you need, and then they force you to upgrade into different packages to get the full deal.

You'll need other services to complete your sales funnel. They don't offer any automation or email building tools under any basic packages so you'll have to upgrade to get all of that. Their basic plans are also more expensive than any other we've reviewed thus far

Pros of Instapage:

  • Drag and drop builder
  • Easy to use
  • Not overwhelming with features

Cons of Instapage:

  • Way overpriced
  • Requires extra integrations to have success

Final Thoughts

After taking a look at this list, what do you think? I love the simplicity and user-friendliness of Systeme.io. I think the software is great for building email lists, converting leads, and generating sales for membership sites.

You get everything packaged into one easy to use software that doesn't blow your door down trying to upsell you on all these unnecessary features. You get exactly what you need, for one price, forever
