7 full 60 minutes yoga sequences, each focused on one of the main traditional Chakras:
ROOT CHAKRA - MULADHARA
The root chakra, or Muladhara, is the first of the 7 main chakra and is located at the base of our Spine.
The term muladhara comes from the Sanskrit mula, meaning "root,” and adhara, meaning “support” or “base.”
We then understand that this first provides the foundation on which we build our life. It supports us in growing and feeling safe, whether it’s physical or regarding our bodily needs or metaphorical regarding housing and financial safety.
The root chakra is where we ground ourselves into the earth and anchor our energy into the manifest world. Balancing this chakra is said to form the supportive foundation for higher spiritual development.
SACRAL CHAKRA - SVADHISTHANA
The Sanskrit name for the sacral chakra is “Svadhisthana”, which means “where your Being is established”. Where we birth our identity.
At this second chakra we come to the essence of you. This is our emotional body. The center of enjoyment and passion. Where we give birth, where our intimacy, our creativity, our well-being flows.
SOLAR PLEXUS - MANIPURA
The Sacral Chakra, Manipura in Sanskrit, translates to the “city of Jewls”
Where we find the pearls of clarity, wisdom, self-confidence and wellbeing.
Your will, your destiny, your divine purpose.
The fire within you.
The center of your personal power.
HEART CHAKRA - ANAHATA
Our Heart chakra, or Anahata roughly translates to “unhurt”. It serves as our center of love for oneself and others, of empathy and forgiveness. It is associated with unconditional love, compassion, and joy. It is here where you will find the source of deep and profound truths that cannot be expressed in words.
THROAT CHAKRA - VISHUDDHA
The throat chakra, also known as Vishuddha – “especially pure", is responsible for communication, self-expression, and the ability to speak our personal truth.
This chakra is related to the element of sound. And the vibration not only felt in our ears, but also in our whole body.
THIRD EYE - AJNA
The most common Sanskrit name for the Third Eye chakra is “Ajna”, which means “command” and “perceiving”.
This Chakra is related to our ability to focus on and see the bigger picture, see beyond the veil of illusions. Once you open the third-eye chakra, it becomes easier to connect with the present moment instead of living in the past or future.
This extremely spiritual chakra is connected to our intuition, psychic abilities, principle of openness and higher knowing.
CROWN CHAKRA - SAHASRARA
The crown chakra or “Sahasrara” – “Thousand petals”, is the seventh main chakra. Located at the top of the head, it gives us access to higher states of consciousness as we open to what is beyond our personal preoccupations and visions.
It is directly aligned to seek an intimate relationship with the cosmos and is our connector to the divine and our spiritual nature.
Through the Crown Chakra, we allow spirituality to flow into our physical lives and get in touch with the universal truth.
