When you’re first starting an online business, a good mentor is priceless.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know I’ve reviewed plenty of entrepreneurs and consultants; from Gary Vee to Sam Ovens.
Since I know that nothing can replace first-hand knowledge from someone who’s been in business for a while, I want to make sure you get the right resources.
And today, I’m bringing you a review of Kevin David.
Who is he, what’s Kevin David’s net worth, should you take his courses, and how can you emulate his success?
It’s time to find out!

Kevin Davidis an eCommerce business coach.
His main motto is: “Freeing entrepreneurs from the corporate grind,” which is a pretty standard selling point in this niche.
Kevin David got his start early on, selling baseball cards in high school.
However, the really important part of his entrepreneurial life came when he started creating gaming apps and blogs.
How did he monetize them?
With Amazon Affiliates and Google Ad Sense.
This is a common pattern with online entrepreneurs.
A lot of them got started by monetizing their blogs, and honing their SEO skills.
Neil Patel is certainly one of them.

After graduating, he worked in an accounting firm.
However, he transitioned to Facebook, where he worked as a privacy consultant.
The job was a significant change for the better, but he still worked on his side hustles.
Then he stumbled onto Amazon FBA.
After successfully launching products with Amazon FBA, a program that allows you to ship your products worldwide using Amazon’s fulfillment network, he decided to share his knowledge with other entrepreneurs who wanted to turn their side hustles into full-time jobs.
How?
By selling courses.

Kevin David likes posing in front of expensive cars. However, he’s pretty secretive about his actual net worth.
His net worth is estimated to be between $4-20 million.
And while I don’t think he has the same net worth as some of the world’s most renowned business coaches, I do know he earns a lot of money, and I can’t wait to show you how he does it.
At the end of the day - Kevin David followed a tried and true formula.

As my grandma used to say, don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
It seems like someone told Kevin David the same thing, because his income comes from multiple sources.
The most important one are his courses, in which he teaches online business owners what they need to do to increase their sales.
Some analysts estimate that he earns as much as $120,000/month from his courses.

Like I said, David made his fortune with Amazon FBA and Amazon FBA courses.
The Ninja FBA Course is the OG course.
This course is a great fit if you want to start an online business but reduce your costs by having Amazon fulfill the orders for you. You won’t have to pay for storage or shipping, just give Amazon its cut of the profits.
The Amazon FBA Ninja course covers all the basics:
Product research
Setting up your Amazon FBA account
Advertising on Amazon with PPC (pay-per-click ads)
Listing optimization tips and tricks
You’ll also get access to the course communitywith over 500,000 members.

The basics are pretty standard, and meant for first-time FBA business owners.
What I personally liked the most are the insightsKevin David got from his field experience:
How to research your competitors’ back-end keywords (great for replicating their success with keywords you haven’t thought of)
How to “hack” your Amazon ranking (without violating the Terms of Service)
How to use Facebook ads
Kevin David’s landing page templates

Kevin David’s Amazon FBA Ninja course costs $1997.
I personally find that price outrageous.
Yes, this is a useful course, but honestly? You’re better off investing that money into your business and conducting your research online.
However, pay attention to the subdomain David hosts his courses on - ClickFunnels.
His courses may be useful if you’re specifically interested in Amazon FBA, but you can learn a lot more by looking at the way he sells his courses.
He uses ClickFunnels, an online sales funnel builder that integrates website and funnel builders, email marketing, and more.
A course may help you some, but an effective sales funnel will help you a lot more.

I’m not going to beat around the bush: FBA is primarily a dropshipping method.
After all, you’re not storing your products yourself.
Similarly, David’s Shopify coursefocuses on dropshipping.
The course offers:
Step-by-step Shopify dropshipping training
Advice on product and supplier research
Tutorials for creating and optimizing your Shopify store
Marketing advice for your store (FB ads and influencer marketing)
You’ll also get access to his community.
All his exaggerations aside, I wouldn’t recommend this course.
First of all, you’ll experience an incredible hassle once you decide to find out how much you have to pay for the actual course, not some eCommerce agency up-sell.
The pricing of this course constantly fluctuates, with the lowest price being $997.
As someone who believes in simple pricing and valuable resources, I can’t get behind this course.
You’ll find this advice online for free.

Digital Course Secrets is a course meant for entrepreneurs who want to start a business selling online courses, just like Kevin David.
Personally, I think this is the best course you could get from him.
He makes the majority of his money from his online courses- not his FBA or Shopify products.
Digital Course Secrets covers:
Choosing your course niche
Building your community
Creating and structuring your course
Automating your sales with funnels
Advertising with Facebook ads
Remember when I mentioned funnels?
Yeah, that’s just the thing.
Funnels help you respond to your customers’ journeys.
There are even specific webinar funnels (systeme.io offers plenty of templates to help you implement them).

Sales funnel
Kevin David’s help with funnels is what makes this course worth it.
You can find information on how to create a course anywhere.
But funnels... funnels are the name of the game.
I’ll talk about them in a bit, and show you how you can replicate Kevin David’s success.

So, how much does Digital Course Secrets cost?
Right now, the price is $1997.
You already know my opinion about that pricing, but you’re also getting access to a community moderated by Kevin David (he often offers advice) and the course is constantly refreshed with new materials.

Facebook ads are definitely a great way to fill up your sales funnel and improve your sales, so Facebook Ads Ninja Masterclass is a good course.
This course will show you how to:
Set up your sales funnel
Use Facebook pixel and lookalike audience
Create enticing lead magnets
A/B test your ads
Optimize your ads
Create effective ad copy and creatives
Leverage retargeting to convert visitors who bounced
There’s also a section on starting your own ad agency. It’s neat, but misleading. It takes a lot more than one course to start an ad agency.
You’ll also learn a lot about using Facebook Messenger bots to attract and convert more social media leads.

Facebook Ads Ninja Masterclass is $1997, which is sort of understandable.
It’s very hard to get the right advertising information, and Kevin David does have a lot of experience.

the cover of the book "Unfair Advantage"
Kevin David also published a book: Unfair Advantage.
Unfair Advantage mainly deals with starting and marketing an online course business, so if that’s your jam, go for it!
You’ll learn:
How to structure your course
How to promote your course
How to use sales funnels to increase your course registrations
You can get the eBook version for $1.24, and if you like paperbacks, Unfair Advantage is $19.95 on Amazon.
Unfortunately, Unfair Advantage repeats a lot of ideas Russell Brunson explained in his book, Expert Secrets.
And since Kevin David made money with Brunson’s platform, ClickFunnels, it’s much better to go straight to the source.

Can you get the information he charges for on the internet for free?
Yes.
So while I respect Kevin David’s achievements, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend his courses.
If you want to start a dropshipping or course business, then I encourage you to check out Kevin David on YouTube and decide whether his information is valuable to you.

Kevin David made money packaging and selling his knowledge.
Fortunately, this is pretty easy today.
You don’t have to be an excellent writer and write a book. You don’t need thousands of dollars for video production.
Heck, you can make money with other digital products.
Physical, too.
But no matter what you do, you need a good sales funnel that converts leads on autopilot.

Sales aren’t just sales.
Your prospects go on a whole journey towards making the decision to purchase your products:
Your leads realize they have a problem or they see your ads
They visit your landing page, and review your offer
They download your lead magnet because they’re interested in the topic you’re covering
They consume your email content, becoming more and more assured that your product is the right fit
They interact with your website and get a special offer that convinces them to finally buy your product
After buying your product once, they keep receiving valuable resources from you, and they decide to buy more and more
This is calledthe customer journey.
The other part of my bullet points - landing pages, lead magnets, email marketing...
That’s your sales funnel in practice.
Sales funnels help you:
Adapt to your customers’ fluctuating needs
Convert more leads
Up-sell other products to existing customers
Create a truly profitable business
